Getting Your Google Adsense Check (Part 2)

I talked about using a new tool to help you generate your first $100 using Google Adsense early this month. Today, I will show you some techniques how can you achieve your target faster :)

Frankly, it is a challenge for a new blog or site to be ranked for a long tail keyword with a moderate amount of searches. Hence, you need to build and create an awareness of the newly written article so that Search Engines will acknowledge and give your article more relevancy. The following are some ways which you can utilize to improve the ranking for your article:

Building long tail keyword links to the article
Obvious? Yes, it is that simple. Many writers tend to just write blog posts and leave them alone. This will not give your posts good ranking unless your content is highly uncompetitive. Hence, it is necessary for us to go out and build some incoming links.

Take for example, if you have written a ‘How To Earn $100 Using Adsense in 7 days‘ blog post, you will want it to be ranked on search engines whenever people searched for these keywords. An effortless method of creating backlinks is to participate in forums or social sites that allow you to show your latest blog post. Take a look at this page - my forum profile for DigitalPoint Forum to see what I mean. Basically, you do not need to do anything other than publishing your blog post (the forums and social sites will syndicate the posts automatically).

The effect of using forums to build up ranking is not fantastic. The most effective way is to have people talking about your blog post. Facebook is one of the channel you can use for building viral effects for your post.

Another effective way to help to rank your article is to have the article title embedded as links from your author bios (resource box) in article directories. If you submit articles in a regular basis, try to alternate your author resource box with various anchor links (using the exact titles) pointing to different articles that you have written. This method alone will help your article in achieving a good ranking eventually.

What if my traffic does not click on my Ads?
