The Essential Element Your Offer Must Contain
We have seen many discounted offers running in the forum from time to time but not all these offers are successful. In fact, only about 20 to 50% of these offers are persuasive and manage to convert. So what is missing here? From my point of view, it is the reason.
Buyers often ponder upon the reason for your discounted services / products. If they can’t see a good reason for your marked-down offers, most likely they will just leave the offer thread. One of the example quoted by recent SitePoint newsletter is:
We’re growing, growing, growing, and have just employed Johnny–our new WordPress developer. In order to keep Johnny busy, we’re offering a 25% discount on WordPress sites …
At the end of the day, you should also explain the reason why you can do it better, faster, cheaper, or easier
