Read all your favorite forums in one screen

You will certainly come to a point where you feel that there are simply too many forums to read everyday and it is very hectic to visit them one by one. What I do is that I grab the RSS feeds from the respective forums that I want to read and add them into NetVibes, a powerful feed reader. The following illustrates how this can be done:

Grab the RSS feed from the forum or sub-forum you want to read

You can locate the RSS URL by clicking on the classic RSS icon in the URL bar (Firefox 3) or on the tool bar (Internet Explorer 7) with your browser pointing to the forum listing page. Clicking the RSS icon bring you to a page with the exact url feed address. For example, the following feed is for the sub-forum, SEO, under Digital Point forum:

http://forums.digitalpoint.com/external.php?type=RSS2&forumids=12

Adding the RSS feeds to NetVibes

NetVibes

You would need to create an account with NetVibes before you can save your preference and reload them every time you want to. You can add as many feeds you want and NetVibes will show you all the feeds in a screen every moment you log in. I have been using this neat tool for a few months and it has saved me a great deal of time.
