How To Increase Google Adsense Income Quickly
Most Adsense Publishers will answer this question with – “Increase your traffic and money will follow”. Not exactly true.. It depends on what type of traffic are you talking about. In my experience, about 80% of the current Adsense publishers can increase their earnings without increasing traffic 
CTR is the key
Increase the Click Through Rate (CTR) of your advertisement is another way to increase your revenue besides increasing your traffic, which is a much more time consuming method. Most sites can boost up their CTR to around 2%, some as high as 20% depends on your placement and existing content. The following are some ways you can utilize to increase your CTR.
Use a tracking system
You cannot manage what you cannot measure. I would advise you to have Crazyegg installed in your website and see how your visitors react. This excellent program has helped me identified some unclickable areas that receive clicks Use these extra information to your advantage by planting the Adsense advertisement in the correct place.
Use link unit if you are in a pretty niche area
If your site is about a pretty niche area like fluid CSS web templates, you may not have many relevant advertisements appearing in your site using the conventional Ad unit format. In this case, use link unit for better results. These units will display more relevant advertisement for your visitors. The horizontal link unit is my top performing format so far
Not everything sells in the above fold
Placement in above fold works great in general site but not every site. Always begin testing by placing a horizontal link unit at the bottom of your page. This works great especially for long pages, visitors that wish to find out more may click on the ads to further exploring. Remember this, there are researchers who are purely finding information everyday

Hi exinco,
My Adsense income comes from my other informational sites instead of this blog. I have tried out previously putting Adsense in this blog but the income is not fantastic.. Hence, I decided to take that away

is not against adsense tos using external ad trackers?. i would love to track adsense ads but i fear loosing my account for TOS reasons.

Hi Jimy, it is ok for us to track the clicks via programs like CrazyEgg and Google Analytics. We will not violate TOS for this

Hi KC, this is my first time here and it seems like you do provide great information. I have a question though, is it possible to have different advertisers in one page? for example one slot for the Giant G and the other one for Adbrite? Would that violate TOS?

You can place Adsense and Adbrite on the same page =)
As long as it is not a contextual type of advertising, Adsense will allows it.
