List Building Through Forums

There are several ways to build a list through forums using either your own or other people’s product. The most common method is to give away a free report hoping that the members will subscribe to your list. Some may offer related bonuses to members who have subscribed to their lists. I will share with you my little success in building my list in the forums recently.

High exposure rate in forums
One thing that many list builders did not realize is that the free offer thread that they created will not stay up long in the front page of the forum listing if they give away their download link in the post directly. This will decrease the replies from the members significantly and hence, resulting in the thread being pushed to the next few pages.

One way to overcome this is to create a thread and state what are you giving away and ask the interested members to drop you a message or reply the thread so that you can send them the link. By employing this method, you will receive high exposure rate as your thread is being replied by the members constantly.

Forum relevancy counts
It is not enough to just post your free offer thread in the forum and wait for things to happen. There are at least two things you need to do in order to increase your list building efficiency by 50%. First, you will have to create a signature pointing to your free offer thread. This will serve as an additional entry to your offer thread.

Second, participate in sub-forums relating to your free offer. For example, if you are giving away a free report on website flipping, more people will be interested in your report if you participate in forums relating to website trading (buying / selling), online business and website reviews.

Using the above steps have added another hundred subscribers to my list in less than 10 days Now, multiply that effect by bringing your report to other forums
