3 Ways To Increase Your Forum Signature CTR

One of the first thing that many people do after registering a new forum is to create a forum signature so as to build links and create awareness of their sites. However, the more you want people to click on your signature, the harder it seems to gain traffic this way. I will be discussing three easy techniques that you can use to increase clicks to your sites via your forum signature today :)

Relevant niche for your site

In case you miss out, you should be participating in forum that is related to your niche before promoting your website through your signature. This is obvious because people will not be interested in your manicure blog if you are in a mens health forum (ok, at least not as effective). So make sure you not only participate in forums that are related to your niche but also word them appropriately.

Your signature should in a action form rather than passive. For example, How I receive $3,000 check by blogging is active. Earn $3,000 by blogging is passive (who earns it? You, me or Bill Gates?). Be clear and relate it to readers that see your signature. Your signature should also contain call to action, the key ingredient that makes people click on your signature :)

Do not reply a thread, create one!

If you have been posting in forums regularly, you would have found out that a thread creator gets more attention than a thread replier. Put it simply, most members will open a thread and reply it straight without browsing the replies. If you want to have more people seeing your signature, try to create threads more than your reply. Unless your reply to a post is extremely helpful to most members in the forums, its impact will not be as great as a new thread.

Showcase your rewards!
Another technique is to post your achievements and inspire others. No, don’t get me wrong.. you are not going around slapping people’s face with your fat check but to share your experience and what you have gone through to reach your current state. Once you have shared your story, you will find tons of traffic clicking on your signature wanting to find out more about you :D

You can even share testimonials you received along the way in the forums. Who knows that person maybe a member in that particular forum as well :D

Feel free to comment on other strategies that you find are useful in attracting clicks to your signature :)

  4. You would need a lot of work to maintain a forum unless you outsource the managing part. Your forum is pretty organized and I think what you need is to attract and encourage activities within your forum. Have you tried holding contests or referral incentives?

SEO seldom works for forums unless you have a high participation rate there.. Head over to AdminFusion.com and you will learn a lot about how to run a forum profitably before you know it :)

    Hope it helps.
