How to Increase Your Text Link Sales
It is very common for Webmasters to sell text links now especially after Google has just updated the Tool bar PageRank. As I have been selling text links from my sites for quite some time now, I think it would be good for me to share some useful tips on how can we sell text links more effectively in forums 
Selling text links with low PageRank
Despite the fact that most people focus on PR, there are other factors that most buyers are keen too.
- Page Impression - This is the most important factor, there are cases where a low PR page receives thousands of page views per day. If you have such sites, you do not need to worry about PR
- Backlinks - Advertise this strongly, it could be possible that a relatively new site has zero PR but once your advertisers know that thousands of relevant links are pointing to your site, they will be more than happy to acquire a link in your site.
- Total Sitewide Links - This is another area that potential advertisers are interested. The more pages that you are putting up the links, the more likely the text links are indexed by the bots.
- Recent Crawl Date - Some advertisers are also looking for last crawled date on your page. Therefore, you can stress that your page is often visited by the bots and this will help greatly in new site indexing.
- Limited Slots - Yes, stress this at the beginning of your ad copy so that your advertisers will know that their links will not appear side by side with hundreds of others.. The lesser links you place on a page, the higher price you can get for a link.
Put up an attractive headline or title
More than often, people will not click into your listing in the forums unless you have an attractive headline or title that grabs their attention. The following is some of the samples that you can use to attract attention:
